Will Smith and his son Jaden are in beautiful Costa Rica where they have began where they’ve begun shooting their latest movie After Earth in which they will once again play father and son.
Directed by M. Night Shyamalan After Earth is set 1,000 years in the future, where a young boy (Jaden) navigates an abandoned and sometimes scary Earth to save himself and his estranged father (Will) after their ship crashes.
The film also stars Zoë Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, Isabelle Fuhrman, David Denman and Kristofer Hivju.
Rumors of the film first surfaced back in 2010 but were confirmed last year by Sony Pictures and Will’s Overbrook Entertainment which is producing the sci-fi flick.
The last time Will and Jaden teamed up to play father and son was in the 2006 movie Pursuit of Happyness which was based on a true story.
M. Night hasn’t had a hit in a long time so hopefully the Smiths can impart their box-office magic to the director.
