Rihanna is said to be offering pal Katy Perry a shoulder to cry on following the announcement that Russell Brand filed for divorce.
RiRi is said to be planning a girls’ getaway to help Katy clear her head.
Katy herself organized a similar trip for Rihanna after the Chris Brown assault in 2008.
“Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she’s on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head.”
In other news Rihanna says she’s hoping Chris Martin will ask her to perform with Coldplay when they hit the Brits next month.
The UK band and the singer teamed up on Princess of China off their Mylo Xyloto album after Chris had work up the courage Rihanna for the collabo.
“I think Chris Martin is a special guy,” Rihanna said. “His songwriting is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I’d love to perform with them.”
