Kimora Lee Simmons is expanding her empire yet again.
The model/entrepreneur, who took the helm of JustFab back in September, is now launching her own skincare line called Shinto Clinical.
The Shinto line includes nine items which incorporates Eastern and Western treatments with humorous names like Pore It Out, the pore concealer; Watch Your Tone, the antiage peptide toner, and Wrinkle Shrink, a wrinkle eraser product. “It’s very me,” Kimora laughed.
“The Western [influence] is the medicine, the efficacy, the delivery and the clinical results,” she continued. “That’s why we call this Shinto Clinical; this is really a clinical range. Shinto means “of the gods,” she noted.
Kimora worked with New York dermatologist Eric Schweiger for the past to years to develop the line which will debut on QVC on February 14th and in retail stores late February and early March.
The line is projected to bring in $5 million to $6 million in domestic retail sales during the first 18 months.
She added, “I’m so excited to bring this brand to women of all ages and complexions everywhere. It has been (and continues to be) a labor of love.”
