Kanye West has secretly been consulting with Christine Centenera, fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar Australia on his fashion line which could debut next month at New York Fashion Week.
The magazine itself revealed the juicy tidbit on its website. Kanye met Christine in March at a fashion show in Paris and since then has been flown out twice a month to consult with Kanye as he crafts his spring/summer 2012 line with British designer Louise Goldin.
The editor wouldn’t reveal any details about the line and would only say that ‘ye is a very private person and she can’t comment on anything.
Shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti also confirmed he had been recruited by Kanye to create shoes for the show and that the rapper may later design a collection.
“[Kanye] loves learning about shoes, both the design and construction, and we’ve tried to design something together,” he said. “In a couple of months, he could have his own special collection out.”
