A bunch of celebrities are banding together to raise money to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy get back on their feet.
Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, The Madison Square Garden Company and The Weinstein Company announced plans for the “12-12-12” concert which will take place on December 12, 2012 at Madison Square Garden.
The show will feature Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Roger Waters, Paul McCartney, The Who, and Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.
“12-12-12″ is shaping up to be a showcase of music royalty. The response from the entertainment community to help those most affected by Hurricane Sandy has been nothing short of astounding,” event producers said in a statement. “We expect to announce additional legendary performers in the near future and we are confident that the event will ensure those in need will not be forgotten, and vital aid will be directed to rebuilding our communities along the East Coast.”

And in other relief efforts, a ton of celebrities banded together to contribute messages of support to help raise funds to help rebuild Seaside Heights for MTV’s Restore The Shore special.
