Jason Derulo: Dating Jordin Sparks, Plotting New Album

After confirmations and denials Jason Derulo has finally decided to confirm that he is in fact dating Jordin Sparks.

The singer who’s three weeks into recovering from a neck fracture says Jordin has been a huge support.

“We are together. She lives in Phoenix and she comes [to Miami] and takes care of me, brings me breakfast in bed and she’ll go on walks with me. We’ve gotten closer because of my accident. It’s awesome to have someone you can talk to and she’s a wonderful person.”

Jason says he plans on putting his downtime to good use. In addition to taking piano lessons the singer has begun writing songs and plotting a follow up to his 2011 Future History album.

“I’m going to make another album while I’m down. We’ll see what comes out of that. I don’t know what it’s called yet, but it’s really inspired.”

Last year we broke the story that the duo had been sending flirtatious tweets to each other and even Jordin’s mom would tweet Jason asking when he was coming home to visit them and Jason’s rep confirmed the two were dating but then Jason went on CBS News to deny the dating claims.

This can either be viewed as a case of “let me keep my name in the news” or they may have decided they are now ready to tell the world of their love.
