We finally have photos of Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon leaving UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica, California with their new twins, Morrocan and Monroe on Saturday (May 14th) and more details on what happened in the labor room when you read on.
The new parents are wasting no time getting back to their busy schedules with Nick revealing today that Mariah is heading back to the studio: ”She’s planning on having a record out this year,” he says. “She’s been working away, and we have a studio in the crib, and the pregnancy has totally inspired her on so many different levels. You’re definitely gonna see some new phenomenal music from Mariah.”
But Mariah is still making sure to put the babies first and has been tweeting about them from time to time while Nick is already back at work on his show.
He also revealed a little bit of what happened during the delivery of the twins: “My wife wanted to make sure that when the babies came out, that they came out not only to a Mariah Carey song, but a live performance from Mariah Carey – her Madison Square Garden performance of Fantasy – so they came out to a round of applause!”
The couple still have to deal with the aftermath of Child Protective Services responding to a vicious rumor about the new mom. A case worker will visit the couple to wrap up its investigation and close the case.
